  • App Preferences: Language selection, theme (light/dark mode).
  • User Content: Bookmarks, highlighted verses, mood selections.
  • Usage Data: Pages read, interactions with verses/Azkar (stored locally for activity tracking).
  • Audio Cache: Temporarily stored audio files for verse playback (deleted when unused).

3. How We Use Data


Data is used exclusively to:

  • Provide Quranic verses and Azkar based on your mood.
  • Save your preferences (language, bookmarks).
  • Improve app performance and fix crashes.

4. Third-Party Services


The App integrates:

  • Quran Package: Provides Quranic text/translations (GitHub link). No data is shared with this package.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (if used): Collects anonymous crash reports. Privacy Policy.
  • Audio Service: Local playback only; no audio data is uploaded.

5. Data Storage & Security


Local Storage: All data (bookmarks, settings) is stored securely on your device using:

SharedPreferences (encrypted).
Hive database (AES-256 encryption).
No Cloud Sync: Data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export backups.

6. Permissions


Internet Access: Required only for downloading audio files (if applicable).
Storage: Used solely for caching audio/translations (optional).

7. Your Rights


Delete Data: Clear all app data via your device settings > Apps > Quran Moods > Storage > Clear Data.
Opt-Out of Crash Reporting: Disable in Settings > Privacy (if applicable).

8. Children’s Privacy


The App complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not target or collect data from users under 13.
